What you send and where it goes
What the quote form collects
Only what you type or choose: the kind of job; how many structures, the year built, its condition, siding, asbestos survey status and what you want kept; the site address and access; your utilities, target date, deadline and permit status; your name, your role, your email and phone number, and any notes. Email or phone is required; the rest is optional.
When you send the form, it also records the page you sent it from, the first page you opened on this site in that browser tab and the site you came from, to show us which pages lead to requests. That information is kept in your browser tab only until you close it.
How the form is delivered
The form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form service that acts as our processor. It passes your request to our inbox. We read it and share it with the independent contractors we pass the job to, so they can contact you with questions and a price.
Who sees your request
Us, FormSubmit while it delivers the message, and the contractors we send the job to. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated advertising. We can't control what a contractor does with your details once they have them; they run their own businesses, so ask them about their practices when they contact you.
WhatsApp and email
The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message already written for you. Whatever you send there is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy. The email button opens your own mail app. Messages you send are handled by your mail provider and ours. If you choose either route instead of the form, we read what you send and treat it like a form request.
Browsing this site
Analytics
At the time of writing, this site does not load an analytics service. If we add one, such as Google Analytics, it may set cookies, and we will update this page first.
Fonts and hosting
The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them, and Google may see your IP address when it does. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to DSHS, the City of Port Arthur's pages, news articles and image sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Deleting or correcting your details
To ask us to delete or correct a request, or to ask what we hold, use the email button and say which request you mean, such as the address you gave or the date you sent it. We delete what we hold when you ask. We can't delete copies that contractors already received, so ask each of them directly.
If we change this page in a way that affects how your details are used, the date at the top changes. Questions about the rules for using the service are covered in the terms.
